radio show, "Here and Now".

Award-winning journalist Robin Young traveled to Brownsburg from Boston's WBUR Public Radio, to produce a radio story about the innovative exhibit, Interwoven: Unearthed Stories of Slavery.

The radio segment features interviews with the descendants who participated in the development of the exhibit. The descendants of the enslaved family, whose story is told in the moving and powerful exhibit, traveled from Texas, Maryland, and Charlottesville to participate in the interview. Also interviewed was Betty Brown, a descendant from Brownsburg.
Robin Young is a Peabody Award-winning documentary filmmaker who has also reported for NBC, CBS, and ABC television and for several years was a substitute host and correspondent for "The Today Show." Robin has received several Emmy Awards for her television work, as well as Cable's Ace award, the Religious Public Relations Council's Wilbur Award, and the National Conference of Christians and Jews Gold Award. "Here and Now" reaches over 5 million listeners daily.
